Connect Aillo to Claude or ChatGPT

Manage your Aillo AI receptionist by chatting: ask who called, read your messages, see and cancel appointments, change your hours, or set up a new assistant from a conversation. Included in every plan.

What you need

  • An Aillo account (sign up free at aillo.ca).
  • Claude (any plan) or ChatGPT (a plan that allows custom apps or developer mode).

Connect Claude

  1. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Browse connectors and search « Aillo » (directory: claude.ai/directory/connectors/aillo). Or add a custom connector with this address: https://app.aillo.ca/mcp
  2. Sign in with your Aillo account, choose the business and what the app may do, then select Allow.

Connect ChatGPT

  1. In ChatGPT, open Settings → Apps (developer mode) → Create.
  2. Paste this address: https://app.aillo.ca/mcp, with OAuth sign-in.
  3. Sign in with your Aillo account and select Allow.

What the app can do

  • list_calls, get_call — calls answered, with the transcript of one call
  • list_messages — messages and call-back requests
  • list_appointments — appointments between two dates
  • get_stats — calls, minutes, bookings and messages over a period
  • get_settings, get_setup_status — how the assistant is set up, and what is left before it answers real calls
  • prepare_cancel_appointments — preview a cancellation, with the text each customer would receive
  • prepare_update_settings — preview a change to the business name, trade, languages, services, hours, greeting, assistant name, voice or notes
  • confirm_action — carry out a preview, only after your yes

Things to ask

  • « Who called today, and did anyone ask to be called back? »
  • « What does my week of appointments look like? »
  • « I'm sick tomorrow: cancel all my appointments and let the customers know. »
  • « Close on Saturdays from now on. »
  • « Set up my assistant: I run a dog grooming salon in Laval, open Tuesday to Saturday 9 to 5… »

Safety

  • Every change happens in two steps: the app shows you exactly what will change (and each text customers would receive) and nothing changes until you say yes.
  • Texts to customers use fixed wording written by Aillo; the AI app never writes them. Customers who replied STOP are never texted.
  • The app only reaches the business you chose when connecting. Plan, phone numbers, payment and team stay in the Aillo dashboard.
  • What callers said is passed to the app as information, never as instructions.

Privacy

What the app reads, including your callers' names and numbers, is sent to the company that runs it (Anthropic or OpenAI), which may be outside Québec. Connecting it is your choice as the business responsible for this information. Details: Privacy policy.

Disconnect

In Aillo, Settings → Connected apps → Disconnect. Access stops at once. A connection also ends after 90 days, when you connect again.
